Deutsche Telekom’s Andreas Neubacher explained the multiple facets of IoT connectivity in his presentation at oneM2M’s Industry Day held in Tokyo (Japan) on 6 December 2023. In it, he discusses design factors such as energy sustainability, security overheads and in-service effectiveness and their impact on connectivity. To help solution developers, Andreas also provides practical examples of several pitfalls and hiccups to avoid.
