There are two standards every EDGE-IoT developer encounters:
- oneM2M, for how devices and platforms exchange data,
- ETSI MEC, for how that data gets served back close to the user.
The project team for the EU/EFTA-funded ESTIMED project have published two guides to help developers learn about EDGE-IoT, to configure a developer workspace, and to build an end-to-end application.
The first guide provides an introduction to key platforms behind EDGE-IoT development, ETSI MEC Sandbox, and oneM2M CSE. It is accessible here.
The second guide contains learning information about ETSI MEC and oneM2M as well as instructions on readying an EDGE-IoT workspace to build a first end-to-end application. This guide is accessible here.
