The Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) invited oneM2M to discuss the topic of standardization and architectures with members of the IIC’s recently launched, IoT Patterns Initiative. The IIC defines a ‘pattern’ as a recurring design or architectural problem in a specific context and an established scheme for its solution.
Ken Figueredo gave a presentation on how different IoT systems fit into a generalized architecture that aims for scalability, interoperability and re-use of legacy assets and proprietary sub-systems
