the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) organized a Hands on Workshop on IoT and oneM2M for Smart Cities under the aegis of its College Research Affiliate Program. Five colleges across India participated, with students initially completing an on-line course to learn the fundamentals of oneM2M's technical standards. The two-day workshop included lectures and project sessions, following which students will deploy IoT devices at their respective colleges.
